1990 ARPARNET ceases to exist

1991 The World Wide Web is created and is released by CERN   The number of hosts passes 1000000

1993 The White house comes online as does the UN and world bank. Mosaic the first graphical web browser brings on a staggering 341, 634% increase in web traffic

1994 Online shopping arrives

1995 RealAudio offers net users to hear live audio via their computers

1996 The estimated number of net uses passes 35 million
