Email or Electronic Mail is a cross between a written letter and a telephone call. You can type a note or letter on screen and then you send it down the telephone tone to reach the destination instantly.
It will only cost at the most 50 cents depending on what server your on. There are even some free email services on the net such as Hot mail and angel fire email out on the net.
An email address is made up of two parts separated by the @ sign, the first part being the username and the second called the host address or node name.
Some interesting things about email are that you DON'T TYPE ALL IN CAPITALS as it is the equivalent of shouting.
There are also smiles which you can add to put expression to you emails.
